I was impressed with the solid build of these hex dumbbells. The rubber coating is thick and doesn't smell bad, and the hex shape means they won't roll away mid-set. That said, they are fixed weight, so you'll need multiple pairs if you progress. The rubber coating also picks up dust easily. Overall, a good value for a durable set.
